That old dress...

... is now chopped in to cute little hexagons.

 

A while ago I told you about this little stack of fabrics that I had wonderful plans for.

 

 My friend Alicia had a case of Pin-spiration but no crafty skills to take care of the sickness; a creative little lady posted her adventures of chopping up a bridesmaids dress she wore and gifted it to the bride for a baby shower gift (cue "awwws").

 

Alicia asked me to put together the same sort of gift for a friend of hers back home.

 

 

So I did. This was also my first time to work with hexagons ( I keep wanting to capitalize that H, maybe because I felt like I answered to the little boogers for a week).

 

I'm increadibly happy with the results, and I hope Alicia's friend is too.

 

 I think I need to buy a baby crib so I can stop bothering my friend Tanya when I need to take new photos. On the other hand, I'm a firm believer in jynx...
