So here we are. Husband, wife and two adorable pups in the middle of Pyong Taek-Si, South Korea - and 24 hours in I have nothing to complain about (except I don't know what all the buttons on our toilet seat do, and I'm a little skittish to find out). The jet-lag is so far non-exitstant, but I'm sure I just set myself up by saying that. I spent too many sleepless nights before I finally boarded my flight in San Francisco, so I think my body appriciated last nights sleep.
The pups did great on the flight over. Tyra (the tiny one) only complained once in her kennel in the cabin and Rusty (the big one) was so excited to see me after his lonely ride underneath the plane. Both seem to be doing fine and are so far loving the life as city pups. The locals here are terrified of Rusty; they literally will jump off the sidewalk when they see him walking their way. If you know anything about Rusty this is even more amusing, because he knows nothing but love.
I can't wait to explore more, take more pictures and share more with you. Until then, I leave you with the awesome view from our balcony.
It may seem a little slum-like from the photo, but I'm going to call it eclectic.
